What the entry step does
The entry screen asks visitors to confirm they are 18 or older. It is a self-attestation only; it does not verify age or collect a birth date, identity document or other proof of age. The confirmation is held in session storage for the current browser tab and is cleared when the session ends.
A shared understanding
Suitable enquiries are about adult companionship, courtship and spending time together. Evening is a social, non-sexual experience; plans are discussed by mutual agreement and should feel comfortable to both people, within applicable laws and platform policies.
